Courses may be delivered to individual learners or groups and may be arranged as public courses, onsite sessions, or employer-led training programmes.

Course Information and Availability

Course descriptions, durations, learning outcomes, and delivery formats are provided on our website or within booking communications. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, course content may be updated periodically to reflect changes in legislation, clinical guidance, or best practise.

Course availability is subject to demand, trainer availability, and minimum attendance requirements. We reserve the right to amend course schedules, venues, or delivery formats where necessary.

Booking Process

Individual Bookings

Individuals may book a place on a scheduled course via our website or by contacting us directly. A booking is confirmed once payment has been received and a written confirmation has been issued.

Employer and Organisation Bookings

Employers, organisations, and childcare providers may book training for one or more learners. The booking organisation is responsible for providing accurate learner details and ensuring that all participants meet course requirements.

For onsite training, the client is responsible for providing a suitable training environment, including adequate space, facilities, and health and safety arrangements.

Payments and Fees

Course fees are clearly displayed at the time of booking or provided within a formal quotation. All prices are stated in pounds sterling unless otherwise specified.

Payment is required in advance to secure a booking, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the booking.

We reserve the right to revise course fees at any time, although confirmed bookings will not be affected by price changes.

Cancellations and Refunds

Learner Cancellations

If a learner needs to cancel a booking, they must notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation terms may vary depending on the course and booking type.

As a general guide:

  • Cancellations made well in advance of the course date may be eligible for a refund or transfer.
  • Late cancellations may not be refundable due to trainer and venue commitments.

Employer and Group Cancellations

For group or onsite bookings, cancellation terms will be outlined in the booking agreement or quotation. These may include minimum notice periods and cancellation fees.

Non-Attendance

Failure to attend a booked course without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation and may result in the full course fee being charged.

Course Transfers and Rescheduling

Where possible, we may allow learners to transfer to an alternative course date, subject to availability. Transfer requests must be made in advance and may be subject to an administrative fee.

We cannot guarantee transfers in all circumstances, particularly for short-notice requests or bespoke onsite training.

Changes or Cancellations by Us

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule a course due to factors beyond our control, such as trainer illness, low attendance, or venue issues.

If this occurs, we will:

  • Offer an alternative course date where available
  • Provide a refund where rescheduling is not possible

We are not responsible for additional costs incurred by learners, such as travel or accommodation.

Attendance Requirements

Learners are expected to attend the full duration of the course and participate actively in all required activities. Late arrival or early departure may affect eligibility for certification.

For practical courses such as Basic Life Support Training and emergency first aid at work training, active participation in practical assessments is essential.

Certification and Validity

Certificates are issued upon successful completion of a course, subject to attendance and assessment requirements. Certification validity periods vary depending on the course and relevant UK guidance.

It is the responsibility of the learner or employer to ensure that certification remains current and is renewed as required.

Course Suitability and Prerequisites

Our courses are designed to be accessible to most learners. However, some courses involve physical activity, including kneeling, chest compressions, and practical demonstrations.
